We'll keep this quick, Jack:
Wednesday marks the first end-of-quarter filing deadline of the year. This isn’t some arbitrary, made-up deadline designed to boost donations. After March 31, federal candidates file a report with the FEC detailing how much they’ve raised.

So why does that matter?

Our candidates—like Senators Maggie Hassan and Raphael Warnock, and Reps. Lucy McBath and Katie Porter—have to post strong numbers. A strong fundraising quarter can scare off a top-tier opponent. A weak fundraising quarter lets Republicans know they can win.

Republicans are favored to take back the House and Senate next year. Historically, the party in power loses DOZENS of seats in the midterm elections. The only way we can prevent this from happening is by out-organizing and out-raising Republicans NOW.

But we’re not sure what’s going on—our grassroots supporters just haven’t been stepping up for vulnerable Democrats since the Georgia runoffs. Our candidates are counting on us for support, but right now, we don’t have the resources.

We pulled our records, and it looks like you haven’t had a chance to donate to Off the Sidelines yet this year. (If that’s not the case, please consider this a progress report. Sometimes it takes a few hours for our system to update):

Click here to rush a donation of $18.50 to Off the Sidelines today (that’s the average amount for grassroots supporters). Your donation will go DIRECTLY toward electing the vulnerable Democrats who will save our majorities.

Our candidates are counting on us to come through. Thank you for making it happen.
