Friends -

No doubt about it, we have sent a good number of emails since we launched our campaign to stop the Republican recall, and in advance of our first fundraising deadline this week.

And since the number of messages may even be more than you get from some family and friends, I wanted to explain just how important these emails are to our fight.

As you may have seen, we launched our campaign to Stop the Republican recall with an extraordinary number of donations. But what you may not know is that the vast majority of these donations come in response to emails -- like this one.

So when you see the press report on the grassroots opposition to the recall attempt, when you see support for the recall attempt dropping in the polls, when you see us on the air and organizing across California, it is emails like this that make it happen.

So with this deadline coming right up this is one of those days we have to ask:

Can you make a $3 contribution to our campaign to Stop the Republican recall before our first, official fundraising deadline ends? This is one of the first big tests of our campaign, and everyone will be watching to see our results.

One of the things we are proving through the number of donations we've received is that grassroots enthusiasm is on OUR side -- not the side of the anti-maskers, anti-vaxxers, and far-right Trump supporters leading the recall attempt.
