RACE UPDATE: Mikie’s corporate lobbyist opponent from 2020, Rosemary Becchi, said she’s considering running for a second time in 2022.

It’s been a little while since we’ve heard from Becchi, so here’s a quick refresher:

• She has extremist views on guns, reproductive rights, and health care.
• She lobbied for the 2017 tax bill that capped the SALT deduction and took money out of New Jerseyans’ pockets.
• She lied about Mikie’s proven track record fighting for veterans in Congress.
• She made huge donations to Mitch McConnell.
• She amplified Fox News’ Tucker Carlson’s baseless attacks against Mikie. 
• She refused to denounce a hateful mailer supporting her campaign that depicted a burning American flag.
