Hey John -- I wanted to give you a quick update on where we stand with our March fundraising.

Our March end-of-month fundraising deadline is only two days away. And right now, we're not quite where we need to be if we're going to hit our $45,000 goal. Tomorrow morning, I'll be giving Laura a fundraising update and I really want to give her good news.

So, I crunched the numbers and if every person who ready this email chips in just $7.23, we'll be able to get back on track. Can I count on you to chip in right away to help us get on track?

John, this end-of-month fundraising deadline may be our most important one yet. It's our first major deadline since our first two opponents threw their hats into the ring. We know they'll be keeping a close eye on what we raise looking for any signs of weakness.

We cannot let that happen -- so we're making a big fundraising push in the first months of our campaign because early investments help win races. What we raise in the early days of a campaign helps us build our campaign team, invest in online advertising to reach Kansans, and so much more.

Before midnight on Wednesday, chip in $7.23, or whatever you can, to help us get our fundraising back on track.
