Did you see Bob’s message about the tragedy in Boulder last week?
Will you join us in the fight to finally pass common-sense gun safety reforms that protect our communities?
One columnist highlighted Bob’s proposal to the Washington State Legislature, stating “Among the many smart, sound actions we might take to try and stem the flood of gun violence, measures to ban assault-style weapons and high-capacity magazines are the lowest-hanging fruit.”
Bob has been proposing to ban the sale of assault weapons and high-capacity magazines since 2016. He’s not about to give up, but needs us to stand with him.
Thanks for signing on,
Katherine

Ten lives were lost this week. An entire community is traumatized. Families are torn apart. Until we act with conviction and address the gun epidemic in this country, this will not be the last message I send offering my condolences to all those affected by a gun tragedy.
We need to ban the sale of assault weapons and limit high-capacity magazines. We know this will save lives and prevent mass shootings just like this one — which is why I continue to propose these reforms to the Washington State Legislature and urge them to take action.
Enough. Add your name now if you agree that it’s past time we finally enact common sense gun safety reform →
The facts could not be more clear: states that ban the sale of high-capacity magazines experience one-third the number of annual deaths from mass shootings.
I know there are powerful interests on the other side, but as long as I’m the People’s Lawyer, I will advocate for the safety of our children and communities. I hope you are with me.
My heart goes out to those affected by gun violence. But words are not enough, which is why I am fighting for crucial gun safety reforms right here in Washington.
Thank you,
Bob
