It’s clear, John. We have officially made this a two person race between me and McAuliffe. And whoever wins this primary will probably be facing a self-proclaimed “Trump in heels.”
Polling shows that my story and vision for Virginia is resonating. I am the candidate Virginians want to vote for in this election and with the right resources, we will win the primary AND win in November.
That’s where you come in. This Wednesday, my campaign is facing the ONLY full quarter fundraising deadline before the primary. If you’re able to make an investment in this campaign, I’d ask that you make it today.
DONATE
I want to go back to something that I said at the beginning of my email. We know the Republican front runner is planning to be a continuation of Trump policies and values. We need to have a Democratic nominee with upward momentum to take her on and not allow Trumpism to come to Virginia.
The status quo isn’t going to cut it, especially when my primary opponent, Terry McAuliffe, doesn’t have the track record to perform under pressure. In the 2009 Democratic primary, he outspent a crowded field of candidates and lost. In fact, he’s never won a primary.
I’m the next chapter in Democratic leadership in Virginia. We have a groundswell of support and it will take that type of excitement to get people to the polls. With your contribution today, we’ll be one step closer to victory (and making history in the process). Are you in?
Let’s go win!
Jennifer
Jennifer Carroll Foy was born and raised in Petersburg. In 2017, she flipped a Republican district as a first-time candidate pregnant with twins. During her time as Delegate, Jennifer championed the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment, helped expand Medicaid to 400,000 Virginians, and advocated for the Commonwealth’s most vulnerable communities.
She has a career of public service and it started long before 2017. As a public defender, Jennifer helped give a voice to the often voiceless — children, people suffering from addiction, those experiencing homelessness, those with mental illness, and the poor.
Now she’s running to be the first woman elected Governor of Virginia and serve as the first Black woman to be governor nationwide.
Help her make history. Donate now.
