Save the Children Action Network is the political voice for kids.

John –

Did you see my email about the Child Care is Infrastructure Act?

I’m reaching back out because it’s critical that Congress hears from you as they start formulating an infrastructure plan. If child care is left out of the discussions, our youngest learners will miss out.

Due to pandemic-related child care closures, the need for new child care options has grown even more. Investing in child care infrastructure would help meet that need by providing funds to open new – and to expand existing – child care centers.

We know that when kids have access to quality child care while their parents are working, they are more likely to thrive. That’s why it’s vital that Congress treat child care as the important infrastructure it is!

Will you take a quick minute to urge your members of Congress to cosponsor the Child Care is Infrastructure Act?

Child care must be included in Congress's big infrastructure bill

Urge your members of Congress to support the Child Care is Infrastructure Act to keep kids healthy and safe while their parents work!

Hi John -

The pandemic has shown us all how much child care is an essential part of our nation’s infrastructure. Just like roads and bridges ensure people can go to their jobs, child care enables moms and dads to work.

President Biden and Congress will soon focus on infrastructure as one of the next big things to accomplish for Americans this year. We need to ensure that child care infrastructure is a priority as these talks get underway.

That’s why we’re building support for the recently introduced Child Care is Infrastructure Act. This bill would address the long-term recovery needs of the child care sector to ensure our kids are safe and thrive.

Will you send a message to your members of Congress asking them to cosponsor this bill?

The Child Care is Infrastructure Act will provide grants to home- and center-based child care programs so providers can improve their spaces. From ensuring that children are safe to meeting new health guidance emerging from COVID, this bill will help children stay healthy while they learn

This bill would also invest in our vital child care providers. Early educators could secure loan assistance and grants for education. This would help retain a high-quality workforce which will benefit workers and the kids they care for.

Investing in the child care settings and staff where our children learn and grow is an investment in those critical early years. Children deserve high-quality and safe environments to learn.

Please join me in sending a message to Congress urging them to support the Child Care is Infrastructure Act!

Thank you for being a voice for kids,
