During his third State of the State address last night, Governor Walz delivered a clear message: The state of Minnesota is strong, and we’re going to emerge from this crisis even stronger.

Thanks to the incredible leadership of the Walz administration and front-line workers across the state, we are well on our way to defeating this pandemic. More than 1.5 million Minnesotans have received the vaccine, including over 80% of our seniors and two-thirds of our educators and child care providers. And our positive budget outlook means we can make even more targeted investments to help working families, students, and small businesses recover.

We still have a lot of work to do, but hope is on the horizon. We just need to stay the course. That’s why it’s absolutely vital that we secure the resources we need to have Governor Walz’s back right now AND in 2022.
