<<Open Call for Proposals - Blue Action Fund>> [[link removed]]

Dear subscribers,

We are pleased to inform you that Blue Action Fund is about to launch a new open Call for Proposals focusing on Africa’s Atlantic Coast (from Morocco to South Africa). We seek to support projects that result in newly established or better managed marine protected areas (MPAs), enhanced livelihood conditions and food security. The total funding envelope for this Call is anticipated to be approximately EUR 15 million.

This Call for Proposals will be launched at the high-level SDG 14 event ‘Marine Conservation: An urgent task for international development cooperation’ on Thursday, 15 April 2021, 16:00 – 17:30 (CET).

The virtual event will also feature statements by the political leadership of Germany, Sweden and France, an exchange among Blue Action Fund’s Supervisory Board members and a panel discussion, bringing together development partners with experts from science, multilateral organisations, and the audience.

Please register for the event here [[link removed]]until 13 April 2021 to receive more information and the conference link by email.

Please feel free to forward this information to your colleagues and partners who may be interested.

We are looking forward to seeing you at the event.

Kind regards,

Markus Knigge

Executive Director, Blue Action Fund

P.S.: Further information about the Call and how to apply will be provided at the event but also subsequently be circulated via this email subscription.
