John,

Another 40 Days for Life campaign is in the books, and we know of 454 confirmed babies saved from abortion thanks to your prayers--with reports continuing to pour in!

When an abortion-bound woman arrived at Milwaukee's abortion facility, no fewer than five escorts swarmed her to make sure sidewalk counselors couldn't share abortion alternatives.

"But she parked in a tow zone," Dan said. "I knew she'd be back to re-park the car, so I took a walk across the street and waited."

Sure enough, the expectant mother came back out, providing Dan with 45 seconds to tell her about the local pregnancy help center before the escorts interfered again.

The woman eventually left the abortion facility, telling volunteers she hadn't made up her mind about abortion...but she didn't make it farther than the gas station across the street.

"She had two flat tires but no money to air them up," Dan said.

Dan bought three tokens for the gas station air pump, helped the abortion-vulnerable mom fill her tires, and asked about her baby and her needs.

As they finished working on the car, Dan told the woman he hopes he doesn't see her at the abortion facility again.

"You won't. I know I can't do it. I know that now," she replied.

"I'm going to give you these other two tokens in the hope that you one day tell your child how you changed your mind about having an abortion because some guy helped you out when you needed it," Dan told her.

The mother thanked him and went home.

"The tire pump token cost one dollar," Dan added.

A woman visited the "Pro Familia" abortion facility for a pregnancy test...

...but when abortion workers told her that--if the test came back positive--her best option was abortion, she decided to leave.

"She was not sure about having an abortion," said 40 Days for Life Latin American Affairs Coordinator Lourdes Varela. "She saw the vigil participants' signs that said, 'You are not alone' and spoke with the volunteers."

Prayer warriors helped the mom find a pregnancy test elsewhere--and when it came back positive, their support and encouragement led the mom to choose life.

Two different women on two different days approached vigil participants crying.

"Both of these young women sobbed, [saying] that they saw the signs and the people praying," reported Michael, the Chula Vista 40 Days for Life leader.

One of the women was two months pregnant. The other was being forced to have an abortion.

But both chose life!

"When we are seen holding our signs in prayer, it can be a sign from God that changes a woman’s heart," Michael said.

He will wipe every tear from their eyes. On this rock I will build my church; the gates of hell will not prevail against it.

— Matthew 16:18

Father, we have done battle with the power of evil, and therefore we can have compassion on those still within its grip. We have been freed from the kingdom of darkness, and therefore we can bear witness to your Kingdom of Light. May the witness of all your people through these 40 Days for Life bear abundant fruit.
