The protests against police terror that took place in 2020 were the
biggest protests in American history. Ever.

So you may be asking yourself, John,
why does it feel like change in our justice
system is still happening so slow?

Here’s why: America doesn’t have one justice system. We have 30,000 of
them – all led by individual DAs who determine who gets prosecuted for
what, who stays in jail awaiting trial, and who is sentenced.

Those are the people we are targeting. Those DAs are used to sleepy
campaigns and easy re-elections. And right now they are terrified, because
to them, this is all happening fast.

We’ve won 18 races already in some of the biggest cities in the country.
We’re pushing change at a pace no one would have expected.

We have more big elections coming up in the next three months, and to keep
up our momentum, we need to hit our fundraising target for this quarter,
so we can make the investments we need to go even faster.

We’re up against right-wing billionaires and police groups who want to

the only way to beat back the institutional power of police unions, and
establishment DAs.
