of this entire campaign so far: Our very first Federal Election Commission
(FEC) deadline. On Wednesday at midnight, we are required by law to close
the books on our first quarter and report all our fundraising numbers to
the public.

Now, why is this such a big deal?

Let us explain real quick, because there are a few key reasons.👇

 1. First, the press is watching these reports closely. Whether we like it
or not, the pundits are going to gauge our FEC report as a sign of our
campaign’s momentum. Big numbers = good headlines that will propel us

 2. Second, our opponents are watching too! If a lot of people are giving

 3. Finally, we are on the verge of hitting a HUGE number. We can’t reveal
what it is quite yet, but we’ve set a $500k goal between earlier today
and the Wednesday midnight deadline. We are super close to this
benchmark. If we get it, we will be able to post an absolutely MONSTER
public fundraising number that will blow away the expectations of
everyone watching.
