We’ve got a big deadline coming up. After midnight on Wednesday, we’ll close the books on this quarter and report our fundraising numbers publicly for the first time this year.

Everyone — the media and any potential opponents eyeing our seat — will be paying very close attention to our public report, searching for any sign of weakness.

Republicans have already tried to rig our democracy in their favor by attacking our sacred right to vote, so our report must show that we’re ready to fight back.

So I set a goal of 5,000 donations by March 31 to show the world that we’re prepared for this fight and anything else that comes our way.

But I can’t take my focus off our fight to protect voting rights and put a universal background checks bill on President Biden’s desk, so I’m personally asking you to pitch in and help us hit this goal.
