This morning I did a double take when I saw the calendar – but sure enough, advanced voting starts in just 10 days!

Our teams have prepared an operation that will get every one of our voters to the polls across the country, but I need to be able to tell our teams we have the resources to go all the way.

John, this is the only way we can capitalize on the momentum we’ve created together – and make sure our plan is the best it can be.

But with just 10 days until voters start going to the polls, it’s time to kick-off our critical get-out-the-vote strategy to make sure every one of our supporters gets to cast their ballot. Advance voting starts next Friday and we need to have enough resources now to give our teams on the ground the tools they need to put our strategy in motion starting this weekend. That’s why I’m hoping you’ll chip in $3 to our Get Out The Vote Fund today – so we can kick-off our plan and get Canada voting orange!

Getting our first-time voters, new supporters, and long-time New Democrats to the polls early is the most important part of our winning strategy – advance voting is our chance to show Canadians that the energy we’ve been feeling and the momentum we’ve been talking about is turning into votes – and action.

And that kind of early showing can make or break our election day success in ridings across the country.

This election is critical to giving people the opportunity to choose different leaders who won’t just say the right things but do them.
