We have seen the images of the humanitarian crisis being created by Joe Biden’s open borders policies. We are told it is being done in the name of "compassion."

Apparently, compassion only extends to kids from other countries.

When it comes to our schools, Democrats are . . .

. . . Ignoring science about COVID and school-aged kids

. . . Ignoring the evidence of devastating mental health issues for our students

. . . Ignoring the findings that kids are falling behind academically

. . . Putting enormous pressure on working families who cannot afford to stay home with their kids

All of this because that’s what teachers’ unions are telling them to do. Simply put, they are putting teachers’ unions ahead of students and parents.

One of the first bills I introduced in Congress would require states to disclose ALL of their negotiations with teachers unions in order to receive one additional federal dollar. And I worked to amend the massive $1.9 trillion spending bill to require that all of our schools REOPEN.

The Democrats rejected our efforts.
