Jamaal's first few months in Congress are a powerful example of all the good that can be done when we uplift determined, progressive leadership in Congress — and a glimpse of all the progress we can make if we continue to support him.
Together, we've been able to introduce groundbreaking legislation like the Care For All Agenda, the Congressional Oversight in Unjust Policing Act, and the Broadband Justice Act. We've shared and directed resources within our district around COVID-19 relief, we've rallied in solidarity with communities from Texas to Alabama, and successfully worked with the state of New York to bring two vaccination clinics to the hardest hit areas of NY-16.
But we must prepare for the future by reaching our goal for our first FEC deadline in office so we can show our opponents that our progressive movement is steadfast, growing, and not going anywhere soon.
