Hi all -- I just wanted to drop you all a quick note to explain why our first quarter deadline is so important. 

First, it's the biggest deadline we've had so far this year. It's the deadline showing folks we are fully committed to taking this seat back and making the early investments in our campaign to win. 

Second, this race is going to be close, and it's going to be consequential. This will be on of the top five congressional races in the country -- and likely number one. 

Third, a new Los Angeles Times article just highlighted the rise of the radial right in Orange County -- and we know Michelle Steel is a leader of this fascist movement. Not only is she tied to participants in the January 6th insurrection, she refused to certify the electors for the 2020 presidential election, voted against Trump's impeachment, and voted to strip fellow Americans of their basic human rights.

So, folks, can I count on you to donate today? 

Harley Rouda served California's 48th district in Congress. In 2018, Harley defeated the 30-year incumbent Dana Rohrabacher in the very first political campaign of Harley's life. During his time in Congress, he's embraced common sense and values to tackle climate change, address deteriorating infrastructure, confront homelessness, and protect Social Security and Medicare.
