Mitch McConnell just issued a new series of desperate threats against the Democrats who want to eliminate the filibuster -- his only remaining power in the Senate.

McConnell, in a child-like tantrum, is threatening to create a "scorched-earth Senate" if Democrats finally take action to eliminate the Senate filibuster.

What's more? According to the Washington Post, he claims Republicans will retaliate by "defunding Planned Parenthood and sanctuary cities, passing sweeping right-to-life legislation, and authorizing concealed-carry firearms reciprocity in all 50 states" once they take back the Senate.

Here's the thing, in case you missed it: Republicans are already doing everything they can to block progressive legislation. Countless voting rights bills, raising the minimum wage, a pathway to citizenship for DREAMERS, and so many pieces of critical legislation are currently stuck in the Senate. Abolishing the filibuster is the only way to pass these priorities and protect our country before McConnell has any chance of retaking the majority.

Listen, we will lose nothing by taking bold action now, but we may lose everything if we heed Mitch McConnell's empty threats. While Kamala Harris has the tie breaking vote, we must eliminate the filibuster. Please, help us pressure Democrats to act before it's too late.
