John,
This month is Women’s History Month, and as someone who has long fought for women’s rights, I am using this month to rededicate myself to this critical fight.
In the new session of Congress, our Democratic House has passed important legislation to address gender inequities — we voted to remove the arbitrary deadline for ratifying the Equal Rights Amendment, voted to reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act, and passed the Equality Act to prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex, sexual orientation and gender identity.
There’s still so much work to be done to support women in the country — and I promise my Democratic colleagues and I will keep up this fight.
Always,
Lois
P.S. My critical Federal Election Commission (FEC) deadline is coming up on Wednesday. Can you chip in $10 to help us raise the $20,556 we need to reach our goal? https://go.loisfrankelforcongress.com/a/fec-deadline-march
