John,

It’s Palm Sunday, and I hope that every Hoosier can take the opportunity today to be grateful for all the blessings we have in this life.

It’s been a tough year, but I feel incredibly blessed to live in Indiana. I’m also grateful for my community and family, and all Hoosiers who’ve worked together this year to help us get through the pandemic.

And, of course, I’m grateful for Jesus today, who rode into Jerusalem 2,000 years ago with much praise, even knowing that he would pay the price for our sins only days later.

I’ve been reflecting on the words of John 12:13 today, which read, “So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, crying out, ‘Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!’”

Find comfort in knowing that the Lord is here and He blesses us even during troubling times.

Blessings to all this Palm Sunday!
