Dear
SPUC supporter,
Tuesday 30 March marks the first anniversary of the introduction of the DIY abortion regime.
Please join pro-lifers throughout the country in remembering the unborn lives lost and the women hurt from DIY abortion, by lighting a candle on that day.
The stories from women who have undergone this traumatic procedure at home, often alone, are heart-breaking. One such story is Kirsty's - which you can watch below.
One year on
Some of the tragic facts from the DIY abortion regime:
- 23,061 DIY abortions took place between April and June 2020 alone in England and Wales.
- Ambulance calls for abortion complications rose by 54% during 2020 following the introduction of DIY abortions.
- Each month, 250 women using abortion pills at home will require hospital treatment to surgically remove retained products of conception.
Light a candle
We are continuing to fight against this awful policy being made permanent. However, on Tuesday 30 March, we will be taking a moment to remember the babies that have been lost, and the women who have been hurt. Please join us in lighting a candle on this day.
With my heartfelt thanks for all you do to defend unborn life,
Antonia Tully
Director of Campaigns
P.S - we would love to see photos of your commemorations. Please send them to [email protected].
