‌Bad news, John. Salon reports that "the next cycle of redistricting could be even more fraught with abuse than previous cycles." Here's why:

➞ The Supreme Court decision to weaken the Voting Rights Act in 2013 likely gives Republicans more leeway to manipulate the maps

➞ With the 2021 redistricting process shortened by Census Bureau delays, Republicans will have more opportunity to ram through unfair maps

➞ And they've already told us they don't care about fairness (seriously, the Texas GOP chair said that)
