Dear John--

Two months into the Biden administration, the fate of the Iran Nuclear Deal remains uncertain. But why is that the case? What has been holding the Biden administration back? And what are some of the regional implications surrounding re-entering the deal?

Grassroots organizations from across the country are joining together to try to answer just that. Join us on Wednesday, March 31 at 2:30 PM ET for our expert panel presenting the most recent developments surrounding the JCPOA and what they may mean for the future of Iran and the rest of the Middle East.

The event will feature opening remarks from Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT). Our expert panel includes Peter Beinart, Professor of Journalism and Political Science at the City University of New York; Kelsey Davenport, Director of Nonproliferation Policy at Arms Control Association; Trita Parsi, Executive Vice President of the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft, and Barbara Slavin, Director of the Future of Iran Initiative and a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council. The conversation will also be moderated by Jamal Abdi, President of the National Iranian American Council.

For those who care about preventing a future war, as well as addressing the humanitarian role the U.S. has in Iran, Yemen, and elsewhere, this is the conversation to join. Make sure to RSVP today for the Zoom webinar link.

Sincerely,

Donna Farvard
National Organizing Director, NIAC
