John,

Today marks the beginning of Passover, an important time for adherents of the Jewish and Christian faiths.

It’s one of the oldest religious festivals in Judaism, marking the time that God delivered their nation from slavery to Egypt. Christians today also use it to remember the sacrifice Jesus made for our sins, especially as Christ and the disciples were celebrating Passover during the Last Supper.

Throughout human history, God has stepped in and saved us, even when all hope had seemed lost. Especially after the difficult year we’ve had facing the COVID-19 pandemic, I’m reflecting on God’s mercy and grace, and praying for everyone who has been affected.

I hope that every Hoosier is able to celebrate this holy time of year with their loved ones.

God bless,
Kyle Hupfer, IN GOP Chairman
