Help us ban assault weapons, expand background checks, and save lives. John,

Boulder, CO, and Atlanta, GA, are already fading from the headlines. Eleven other mass shootings in the same week never even broke the news. And just last night, two people were shot and killed and eight more injured in Virginia Beach, VA. For gun violence survivors like me, it's sickening to watch this happen over and over again. Especially because gun violence like this isn't inevitable – it's preventable. And we cannot let our outrage fade into the next massive tragedy this time.
John, enough is enough. We must ban weapons of war. We must expand Brady Background Checks. We must save lives – and it cannot wait.

That’s why our Board of Directors is meeting the urgency of the moment and matching all gifts — any amount — to directly fund our critical work. We are counting on you to meet the moment, John, and take advantage of this match. Will you donate today and have your gift DOUBLED? >> [[link removed]?]

Brady is actively on the ground mobilizing gun violence prevention activists across the country, working directly with lawmakers to enact our lifesaving agenda, and engaging tens of thousands of new gun violence prevention advocates just this week. The stakes of our life-saving work have never been higher – and it all hinges on whether or not we are able to fund this work.

Will you rush a donation right now — every dollar you can spare will be doubled— to ban assault weapons, expand background checks, and save lives? [[link removed]?]

Gun violence prevention survivors and activists have been told for too long that the time is not right for life-saving legislation and we cannot afford to wait another minute to address this crisis and save lives. But right now, we are more poised than ever to effect change after we worked tirelessly to elect gun violence prevention champions to the White House and Congress, but we have to keep the pressure on our lawmakers to pass the common-sense legislation that the majority of Americans support.

John, our ability to fight relies on your immediate support: Please, the stakes and life-saving importance of our work, like passing an assault weapons ban and expanding background checks, have never been higher and we urgently need your support: Will you donate today – every dollar will be DOUBLED – and directly fund our fight?
