Elections matter. Just look at all the positive ripple effects from our hard-won victories in last year’s election.
With President Biden and a Democratic House and Senate, we’ve already enacted transformative legislation to crush the COVID pandemic, safely reopen schools, and help millions of struggling families survive this crisis as we revive the economy and get more people back to work. We’re taking action to confront the climate crisis. Major legislation is advancing on immigration reform, gun violence prevention, voting rights and prescription drug pricing reform. And a huge green infrastructure package is taking shape.
But with each of these achievements, I can’t help but think of where our nation would be if the extremist QAnon-supporting GOP had won the White House and the majority in Congress. Let’s just say, it would not be good.
That’s why it’s so important to make sure that never happens. Because elections matter so much, it’s critical that we remember the next election is just around the corner.

If Republicans flip just five seats, they can take back the House and block everything we’re doing. It’s up to us to make sure that doesn’t happen.
