I have an urgent update: this week, the Michigan GOP introduced 39 bills that would restrict voting rights here in Michigan.

Friend, In 2018, citizens across Michigan voted for changes to make voting easier.

Now, Michigan Republicans want to take these choices away! We can't let that happen.

With so many struggling right now because of the pandemic, it's time for Michigan Republicans to do their jobs and help our families instead of working to take away our constitutional rights!

In 43 states across the country, including here in Michigan, Republicans have proposed draconian bills that would restrict access to the ballot box for tens of millions of Americans. Some of these bills would limit mail, early in-person, and Election Day voting.

We are in nothing less than a fight for democracy. Instead of working with us to get things done for the American people, Republicans are working overtime to just try to stop them from being able to vote.

Help me stand up to this national effort by adding your name to this petition to strengthen voting rights and condemn the push by Republicans in state legislatures across the country.

In Michigan, we’ve seen what happens when voters make their voices heard. We elected incredible leaders that have made our state stronger and better for Michiganders and our families.
