John,

Congratulations! You did it!

Thanks to the support of members like you, we were able to help pass a strong resolution committing Brown County to 100 percent clean energy – after nearly a year of work by WCV field staff and our partner groups.

Even when the resolution hit a roadblock when language was added that would have discouraged wind energy and defined natural gas as a clean energy source, more than 200 conservation voters spoke out to get rid of those statements and get the resolution back on track.

Right now, conservation voters have the opportunity to build on this progress by electing local leaders on April 6th who will fight in their communities for clean energy resolutions just like the one we passed in Brown County.

Will you join us as one of 200 conservation voters who will help us reach our quarterly deadline to elect local climate leaders across Wisconsin with an urgent gift today? [[link removed]]

This resolution shows why local elections matter.

Local governments have taken the lead in bringing clean energy to Wisconsin. With responsive, pro-conservation decision makers in office in towns, cities, and counties like yours, conservation voters can continue to make progress toward our goal of helping 70 Wisconsin communities pass clean energy resolutions.

But to continue to make progress, we need your support to elect local clean energy leaders in key places – like De Pere, Green Bay, Appleton here in northeast Wisconsin, and other communities all across the state.

To win for conservation on April 6th, we need your support to ensure our field team can reach out to as many voters as possible in the next ten days. If just 200 conservation voters chip in a gift today, we’ll have the resources we need to push our pro-climate candidates over the top on Election Day: [[link removed]]

Thank you for taking a stand for clean energy in Wisconsin!
