As Matt’s campaign manager, I know firsthand: Campaigns can be grueling. And that’s doubly true when you’re working to elect a Democrat in a district that Donald Trump won — twice .
But every day that I see Matt on the floor of the House of Representatives, I know that it was worth it.
Matt stood on the floor and defended Pennsylvania voters as Republicans tried to overturn our election. He has stood up for American workers by being a key support of the PRO Act. He worked to get numerous pro-worker provisions added to the COVID-19 relief bill.
But all of that is already at risk. Republicans are investing big money to retake the House, and Matt is one of the top three targets pinpointed by GOP powerhouse organizations.
We have a chance to fight back and fortify our movement to keep Pennsylvania’s most vulnerable swing seat blue — but it all relies on us raising another $2,891.50 and hitting our fundraising goal before our finances go public after the March 31st FEC deadline.
This is the first FEC deadline since Matt got an opponent in the race, Republicans launched billboard ads attacking him, and GOP powerhouse orgs declared him one of the top #3 targets in the country. If they see our fundraising drying up after all that, they will know this blue seat is theirs for the taking.
