H.R. 1 (the For The People Act) has begun debate in the Senate.

Senate Republicans have been working tirelessly to stop the bill, calling it a “nightmare,” and claiming it would put too much power in the hands of the federal government.

Their lies are their only defense against our bill that would put the power in the hands of the American people to truly decide who their elected officials are.

So now it’s up to us to make sure that every single one of our representatives votes for the For The People Act.

We’re mounting the largest pressure campaign in history to safeguard our Democracy. We need every single Democrat to vote, and to convince some Republicans, too. What does the For The People Act have to offer?

• It would enact nationwide Automatic Voter Registration
• It would put an end to partisan gerrymandering
• It would require Trump and future Presidents to disclose their taxes
• It would expand eligible days and hours to vote, shortening lines and providing greater access to participate in democracy
• And it would stop state Republicans from passing dozens of racist, anti-democratic voter suppression laws before 2020

Republicans know that when we vote, we win. That’s why they’re hiding behind bogus claims of election fraud and voter safety!

We can’t stand for Republican voter suppression any longer. We won’t stand for it.
