John,

Right after a gunman armed with an AR-15 style weapon shot and killed 10 people in Boulder, CO, the NRA chose to tweet about the Second Amendment. This offensive move follows their celebration of blocking the AR-15 ban in Boulder.

The NRA has no regard for human life and we can't let their deadly agenda stop us from banning these weapons of war.

We know that gun violence prevention measures like an Assault Weapons Ban can save lives, but we urgently need your support to finally ban these weapons of war. Will you add your name to our petition today and demand that Congress reenact the lifesaving Assault Weapons Ban? [[link removed]]
