At their convention, Erin O’Toole’s Conservatives voted against even recognizing one of the most important facts of our time – that climate change is real.

Friend, Canadians know that climate change is as real as it gets. It’s a real and serious threat, and doing nothing has a clear economic cost. By taking climate action, Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team are protecting a healthy environment for future generations and creating economic opportunity for Canadians – and Erin O’Toole’s Conservatives don’t have a plan to do either.

Canadians know that you can’t have a plan for the economy, if you don’t have a plan to fight climate change. The time for denial and delay has long passed – It’s time for Conservative politicians to stop using taxpayers’ dollars to fight climate action in court, and to join Canadians in the fight against climate change.
