Whatever it takes: Your impact on the lives of hungry kids
It's been a year since the pandemic first struck — an astonishing, painful year. Loved ones lost. Families out of work. As many as 1 in 4 kids living with hunger.

But you've been there to help.

Together, since the start of the crisis, we've sent $70 million in emergency grants to help community heroes feed children all across the country. They've turned that support into nearly one billion meals for kids and families so far. Check out our latest post that links to the report, as well a video that highlights what you've helped to achieve over this difficult year.

We can't thank you enough for the support that's helped feed so many children and brought relief to families in need.

Anderson believes that a decent meal is a fundamental human right. "People used to ask all the time, ‘What if people steal the food?'" she says. "I always say, ‘You can't. Because it's free.'"

ADD PASSION AND STIR: Billy discusses philanthropy and justice with Renee and John Grisham
No Kid Hungry supporters Renee and John Grisham (yes, that John Grisham) joined Billy Shore for a moving discussion of the couple's philanthropy and social advocacy. Childhood hunger has been a top giving priority for the couple.

"Who's going to look at a hungry kid and tell him you're not going to feed him?" asks Renee. "We all want to feed children, and I see that as a huge bridge builder in a time when we need it."
