In the coming weeks, the Biden administration will put forward a Build Back Better jobs plan to repair our crumbling national infrastructure, stimulate a green energy economy, make healthcare more affordable, improve education and more.

This will take a multi-trillion dollar investment―and at least a major part of it should be paid for by making the rich and corporations pay their fair share in taxes. Senator Warren's wealth tax will pave the way to fund efforts to expand the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid for people with low incomes, improve the affordability of health care for older Americans and people with disabilities, expand rural health and mental health services, and effectively fight the opioid epidemic.

With these funds, we could repair our crumbling and woefully inadequate infrastructure; build broadband access throughout each state―connecting students to classrooms and rural communities with the world; create millions of good-paying jobs, and transform our economy away from fossil fuels and toward a green energy economy.
