John,

You don't have to live in a conservative community, a "red state," or the Bible Belt for God to answer your prayers.

The Lord loves granting miracles in seemingly hopeless situations because victories against overwhelming odds ensure that God alone gets the glory.

Perhaps that's why the 110th abortion facility to go out of business during or after a 40 Days for Life campaign is just outside of...

...Seattle, Washington!

Longtime abortion worker and 40 Days for Life Outreach Director Sue Thayer recently visited the Pacific Northwest to commemorate the closure of Planned Parenthood's Kent, Washington abortion facility.

Here's her video from the celebration:

Some vigil participants have already begun praying at another local abortion facility--where they saved a baby!

Planned Parenthood tried to pretend that the Kent abortion facility wasn't closing--that it was just relocating...

...but the new addresses provided on the closure notice referred customers to existing Planned Parenthood facilities.

Bellingham, Washington

During her trip to the West Coast, Sue also visited Bellingham for a rainy vigil in front of Planned Parenthood.

"One man encouraged us to all pray specifically that Planned Parenthood in Bellingham would close," Sue recalled. "We started praying earnestly."

When Sue and Bellingham vigil participants opened their eyes, a beautiful rainbow appeared!

San Francisco, California

The new Planned Parenthood in San Francisco painted a fake buffer zone on the sidewalk--and then called the police to enforce it.

While harassment within 25 feet of an abortion facility is illegal, the local leader said her volunteers don't harass anybody.

"The police came at 10:30am and verified that we are legally allowed to be there on the public sidewalk within the white line," she told prayer warriors. "Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!"

In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

— 1 Peter 1:6-7

Dear Heavenly Father, we sing to You a new song, for You have done marvelous things. Forgive us when we allow circumstances to defeat us. You give power to the faint and You increase strength in those who have no might. We rest in You dear Lord, and ask You to empower us again for Your service as You work out Your plan for us and through us.
