My name is Commander Kirk Lippold, US Navy (Ret.)

In 2000, I was in command of the USS Cole when the ship was bombed by Al-Qaeda terrorists.

That day, I saw the horrors of war first-hand… and like so many other veterans, the images of death and destruction have never left me.

Too often, our heroes come home... and suffer in silence, with severe psychological symptoms. Simply put, our nation needs to do more to help them resist giving up all hope.

Help22 is leading the charge.

We’re assembling a volunteer team of esteemed psychiatrists, psychologists, life coaches and counselors from across the nation… and challenging them to donate one day per month, to give free advice and counseling to America’s heroes.
