On Tuesday, a gunman shot and killed 10 people in a grocery store in Boulder, CO with an AR-15 style assault weapon. Worse, these murders came merely days after the NRA helped strike down a ban on AR-15 style assault weapons in the city. Six days before, 8 people were senselessly killed in the Atlanta, GA, area. And those were only the mass shootings that broke national headlines – 11 other shootings affected communities across the country.
