Victoria Law will be in conversation with Bill Lueders, editor of The Progressive magazine. After which she will take questions from the audience. 

Victoria Law is a freelance journalist who focuses on the intersections of incarceration, gender and resistance. Her books include Resistance Behind Bars: The Struggles of Incarcerated Women, Prison By Any Other Name: The Harmful Consequences of Popular Reforms (co-authored with Maya Schenwar), and the forthcoming (April 2, 2021) “Prisons Make Us Safer” and 20 Other Myths about Mass Incarceration.

Chuck Collins will be in conversation with Norman Stockwell, publisher of The Progressivemagazine. After which he will take questions from the audience.

Chuck Collins is the Director of the Program on Inequality and the Common Good at the Institute for Policy Studies, where he co-edits Inequality.org. He is author of the popular book, Born on Third Base: A One Percenter Makes the Case for Tackling Inequality, Bringing Wealth Home, and Committing to the Common Good (Chelsea Green). His most recent book, Is Inequality in America Irreversible? is published by the Oxford, UK-based Polity Press. His forthcoming book, The Wealth Hoarders: How Billionaires Spend Millions to Hide Trillions (Polity) will be published in April 2021.
