Team,
In Georgia, a progressive, multiracial coalition turned out in record numbers to deliver a mandate for bold, transformative change.
And Republicans in the state legislature just responded by launching an all-out attack on voting rights — imposing oppressive voter ID laws on mail-in ballots, severely limiting drop box access, and even making it a misdemeanor to give voters waiting in line snacks or water.
Georgia isn’t the only state legislature hell-bent on suppressing votes — GOP lawmakers in more than 40 states have proposed hundreds of laws to restrict the right to vote, and Iowa has already scaled back its early voting period. And national ultraconservative groups are mobilizing to help lawmakers bring forward even more legislation to restrict access to the ballot box.
We can’t let them get away with it.
It’s more critical than ever that we build a strong progressive coalition in every state to fight back and protect voting rights. Will you rush in a split contribution of $10 or more between our campaign and my leadership PAC so we can help elect more progressives in state legislatures across the country?

Republicans claim they care about “election security,” but we know what this is really about: silencing young people and people of color and stopping any progress in its tracks.
Progressives have organized around voting rights because we know that our democracy flourishes when more people participate — not less.
With 2021 and 2022 state and federal elections around the corner, it’s never been more important to come together to elect strong voting rights champions who support policies like universal vote-by-mail, early voting, and same-day registration. That’s why I’m asking you personally:
Please split a donation of $10 or whatever you can between my leadership PAC and our campaign to help elect bold progressives who will do whatever it takes to protect and strengthen voting rights.
Thank you for meeting this moment with meaningful action.
In solidarity,
Ilhan Omar
