In my first race my liberal Democrat opponent, a former appointee of President Bill Clinton's, reaped the benefits of Soros, Bloomberg, and Pelosi money and out-raised me by $1.2 Million. I was truly shocked.
I told myself I will never be out-raised again. I can't afford the risk. I’ve been talking to donors about helping me show strength early and deterrence. By having strong war chest now it helps me deter Democrats from coming after my seat.
