BREAKING: "Georgia governor signs into law sweeping voting bill that curtails the use of drop boxes and imposes new ID requirements for mail voting"
-- The Washington Post, 03/26/2021

Help us send a message to the Georgia GOP that we will NOT be intimidated by their voter suppression tactics. Chip in today to help us get Black voters to the polls ยป

We knew this day was coming, friend.

In the last election, we facilitated over 77,000 free Lyft rides to the polls, registered over 114,000 voters, and called more than 2.8 million Black voters. Because of this team's dedication, we got countless Black voters to the polls. Now, the GOP is lashing out.

This Thursday, Georgia's governor signed a disgraceful and racist voter suppression bill into law. Among other things, the law makes it a crime for third-party groups to hand out food and water to voters standing in line, it imposes new ID requirements for mail-in voting, and it blocks the use of mobile voting vans.

This is a direct and shameless attack on the enormous voter engagement campaigns that The Collective Future and grassroots leaders helped facilitate in Georgia. And it's clear this voter suppression law is just the first of many that are bound to spring up around the country.

The Georgia GOP are SHAMELESS, and we need your help preparing for the fight ahead to make sure we can combat these voter suppression tactics. Will you donate right now to help us fight back?
