Big news, John -- starting on Monday, March 29 every Kansan over the age of 16 will be eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

As of today, 35.1% percent of Kansans have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and now we have the opportunity to increase this number in the coming weeks.

As we anticipate an increase in vaccine supply from the federal government, I am committed to ensuring no vaccine goes to waste. Moving to the final phase of my vaccine distribution plan earlier than scheduled is the first step toward getting Kansans back to work, back to school, and back to normal. Kansas will become just the 8th state to expand vaccine availability to all adults.

I strongly encourage every eligible adult to get their vaccine as soon as availability opens up. To find a vaccine location near you, visit our Vaccine Finder tool to find distribution locations near you.
