Hello Neighbor,

Public safety and low crime must be our top priority in Aurora. It is imperative we keep every neighborhood and every block safe.

This starts with our youth and education. That is why we began the Aurora Mentoring Outreach Initiative by identifying and bringing together close to 30 mentoring groups that are working with young people providing opportunities inside and outside of the classroom.

We have also invested in our Community Policing efforts. This is an important step to building strong relationships in our communities. Under my administration, our community's concerns will never go unheard.

Like never before, our police officers, young people and community groups are working together to ensure we are addressing issues neighborhood by neighborhood and street by street.

Let’s keep our community safe and continue to be Aurora Strong!
