Wednesday will be our first FEC deadline of 2021. Shortly after, our fundraising numbers will be made public for everyone, including Mitch McConnell and Wisconsin Republicans.

That makes me a little nervous, because fundraising has slowed down over the last few weeks. I’m not too surprised considering I’ve been spending all my time fighting to pass COVID-19 relief, voting rights protections, and so much more in the Senate. The truth is, I just haven’t been able to focus on fundraising.

The bad news is, Republicans are already rebuilding their war chest to defeat Democrats and reclaim the Senate — and they only need to flip one seat. With our slim 50-50 majority in the Senate and a critical seat up for grabs in Wisconsin, we can’t afford to look vulnerable right now.

That’s why it’s so critical we hit every single one of our fundraising goals and build the strongest campaign possible to protect the Senate majority in 2022. So, I’m turning to this incredible grassroots team for help before the deadline.
