Since the people turned our country around in the last election, we've already begun to see progressive wins in Congress that put the people -- and no one else -- first.
Since January, Diana has:
• Impeached and prosecuted Donald Trump;
• Sponsored legislation to protect 600,000 acres of Colorado land;
• Passed the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act;
• Passed the Equality Act to protect LGBTQ+ Americans;
• Passed the Dream and Promise Act to put DREAMers and Temporary Protected Status (TPS) recipients on a path to citizens;
• Passed the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, a historic police reform bill;
• Co-sponsored and passed a bill to remove the deadline on the Equal Rights Amendment;
• Passed the American Rescue Plan, the most comprehensive COVID-19 stimulus package to date, which includes $6 billion for Colorado;
• Passed the Bipartisan Background Checks Act, the most meaningful gun violence prevention bill in a generation, and
• Led several hearings on vaccine distribution, including with top manufacturers and Dr. Anthony Fauci.
