Dear White Ribbon Supporter

Over the past weeks there has been an increase in calls for men to play their part in ending male violence against women as a response to the murder of Sarah Everard. This has brought the work of White Ribbon to the fore and we have been able to take our message to many more people. It must not fall on women to have to change how they go about their lives because of the fear and risk of violence and we will continue to call on men to challenge narratives and structures that objectify or belittle women.

It is people like you, our supporters, ambassadors, champions and accredited organisations who enable to us take this work into workplaces and communities. Thank you for what you are doing.

** #allmencan
------------------------------------------------------------
On Wednesday 24 March a new campaign #allmencan was launched with White Ribbon UK as a key partner. Leading communications agency Weber Shandwick developed the campaign on a pro bono basis. The aim is to help drive sustained engagement by uniting charities, organisations and individuals around the common goal of ending male violence against women. You may well have seen the posters on billboard across the UK and on social media. The campaign wants to start conversations - all men can learn and teach others to be better allies to women.

Please help spread the campaign - use #allmencan - and there is a website you can visit here ([link removed])

** Will you run the Virtual 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon for White Ribbon UK?
------------------------------------------------------------
The 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon is taking place on Sunday 3 October, with a record 50,000 participants running on the streets of the capital, from Blackheath to The Mall.

On the same day, an additional 50,000 people will have the chance to take on the world’s greatest marathon their way on the course of their choice from 00:00:00 to 23:59:59 BST, wherever they are on the planet – building on the success of the first-ever virtual London Marathon last year.

Together, these participants will make history by creating the world’s first 100,000-person marathon – would you like to be one of them?
We have a limited number of charity places available in the Virtual 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon. If you’d like to take part in this challenge, while raising funds for White Ribbon UK as well as awareness of our campaign, please get in touch with us today.
