Mad is fighting for an equitable vaccine rollout.
The PA Department of Health said it was investigating how much the Philadelphia suburbs may have been shortchanged in the rollout of the coronavirus vaccine. Inquirer data analysis revealed suburban Philadelphia counties were receiving fewer doses per capita than other, less populous counties. Lawmakers said they had been seeking answers from the state for weeks with little response.

Mad published her memoir with her son, Harry.
"The goal was just to be honest. If I’m honest about what I was going through — my stumbles, my blind spots, my struggles, but also my tenacious love for Harry — then maybe somebody would see themselves in us. If I don’t tell the story honestly, it will come off like some sort of a patina. And that won’t help anybody."

Mad and the Fab 4 are urging Gov. Wolf to accelerate vaccine deployment.
The Fab 4 encouraged Gov. Wolf to ensure that representatives from these essential worker groups have a seat at the table for all planning so that they can communicate directly with his team about what approaches will work best for them, for our children and families. They continue to advocate for additional federal funding for Pennsylvania as well as an increased allocation of vaccines.
