First , the U.S. House of Representatives passed the For The People Act, one of the most significant voting rights and democracy reform bills in decades. Every single House Republican voted against it.

Then , on Wednesday, the U.S, Senate held its first-ever hearing on the For The People Act.

Yesterday , Georgia Republicans passed a massive voter suppression law to prevent eligible voters from participating in our democracy, limiting ballot drop boxes and even making it illegal for volunteers to hand out water to people waiting in line to vote.

Here's the thing – it's not just Georgia. Republican state lawmakers across the country have introduced hundreds of bills in more than 40 states aiming to restrict Americans' access to voting. We need to fight back and defend our democracy. We can do that by passing the For The People Act.

• Fight voter suppression efforts and ensure our elections are secure from foreign interference
• Hold elected officials accountable with tougher ethics laws
• And so much more!

What Republicans are doing in Georgia and across the country is a desperate attempt to suppress the vote in order to hold on to power. President Biden was 100% right when he called these efforts "sick" and "un-American."
