John — Veronica here! Next Wednesday is an important milestone in our campaign: our final end-of-quarter fundraising deadline before the primary in June. I’ll explain.

Thursday morning, we will pull our numbers and compile a report of how much we’ve raised and how many have chipped in to our campaign. Shortly after, that report will go public for everyone to see — an important step to make sure candidates are accountable and transparent with their finances.

This may seem like just another deadline, but since this is our last full quarter report before the primary, our numbers will be under close watch. If our opponents detect even an ounce of vulnerability, you can bet they’ll start attacking us in these final months.

It’s critical that we submit the strongest numbers next week so we can show everyone that we have what it takes to elect Hala as our next Lt. Governor and make history this November.
