My friend, Congresswoman Sharice Davids, has been breaking down barriers her entire life.

When she was elected to the House in 2018, Sharice became Kansas' first openly lesbian member of Congress and one of the first-ever Native women elected to Congress (she and now-Secretary of Interior Deb Haaland were in the same congressional class).

Now, Sharice is fearlessly advocating for equality for all Americans through critical legislation like the Equality Act. While the Kansas state legislature has been passing dangerous anti-LGBTQ+ legislation, Sharice was the only member of Kansas' Congressional Delegation to vote in favor of the Equality Act.

Friend, it's absolutely critical that we keep Sharice's voice and leadership in Congress, but National Republicans have already announced her seat as one of their top targets.
